This is my favorite go-to basic smoothie. It's so easy to make and just uses ingredients I always have on hand. Frozen fruit, bananas, OJ. I add some flaxseed powder for Omega-3's and protein. It's perfect for breakfast or a mid-day boost!
Banana Berry Smoothie
Serves 1 Ingredients 1 cup fresh or frozen berries (I used blueberries and blackberries) 1 banana 1 T ground flaxseed powder 1 cup orange juice
Directions In a blender (I have used the Ninja for 3 years now and really recommend it!) , mix all ingredients together until well blended and smooth.
Top with some shredded coconut shavings and a cool straw and sip away! Enjoy!
