Today I'm sharing with you my latest favorite green smoothie recipe that I've been loving. Green smoothies are the best. This recipe is so flavorful and full of healthy nutrients that will surely give you an extra boost of energy in the mornings.
I've been upping my smoothie making game lately and this is my newest favorite combination of ingredients. The addition of the fresh ginger gives it such an awesome flavor especially combined with the tart granny smith apple. Soooo yum! Definitely try this one. Green Ginger & Apple Smoothie
2 1/2 oz baby spinach (about 1 small sized full bag)
3/4 - 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
1 Granny Smith apple, core removed
4/5 cup orange juice (200 ml)
Juice of 1 lime
Put all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend and add water until it reaches your desired consistency. I love a delicious, thick, creamy texture, but you can add more water if you like.
