Pineapple & Blueberry Smoothie Bowl - Vegan + Gluten Free

Now that it's Spring I am getting back into smoothie-making. This is a really amazing tasting smoothie recipe that I made a year ago and I always come back to it. It was one of those random combinations I put together that turned out so perfect that I quickly wrote down in my recipe book so I would never forget it- it's THAT GOOD! It is great a large glass with a straw or as a smoothie bowl topped with fresh fruit and a granola crunch. Yum!


(Gluten Free, Vegan, Whole Food Plant Based)

½ cup coconut water, OJ, or water

½ cup frozen blueberries

¼ cup frozen pineapple (about 5-6 big chunks)

1 ½ frozen bananas

1 T hemp seeds

½ tsp blue spirulina

Optional toppings: kiwi, raspberries, homemade granola

Add all of the ingredients together and blend until creamy! Top with your favorite toppings!
